Tags Attribute - list view

UserGuide Documentation Index Home

Tags are typically short phrases that can be used to internally manage Requirements. For example, Requirements that need to be updated can be given the Tag Extract Requirement and can then be filtered from within the Requirements Summary window. Tags are not visible in Reports, although Tags can be used to create informal groupings of related Requirements so that they can be printed in a Report.

Tags can be Baseline, Public or Private. Baseline Tags can be used to identify Requirements that have been included together in a final Report - when you are compiling a final Report for distribution you should create a new Baseline Tag and link it to every Requirement in the Report. Public Tags can be viewed by every Database User working on the Project. Private Tags can only be viewed by the Stakeholder who created it.

This window contains the List View for all of the Tags linked to the Requirement. To add a new Tag to the Project click the Customize button.

To find this window from the Requirement Summary window, click the Show Detail button to open the Requirements Detail window, then click Tags in the Requirement Attributes list.
