Simple Filter Properties - tab

This window allows the user to edit the Simple Filter properties of the Requirements Summary window. The user can select whether to logically AND or OR the Simple Filter criteria together, and whether to match all Requirement Attributes or just the Primary Requirement Attribute when refreshing the filter.

By default, this window is not displayed when the user clicks on the Refresh button in the Requirements Summary window. To have this window open before applying the selected filter criteria, click the Options button, select the Miscellaneous tab, then check the box labeled Show Filter Preferences before Refreshing the Summary window.

To find this window from the Requirements Summary window, click the Refresh... button then select the Simple Filter tab.

Controls and information available to the user:

The Simple Filter must match either Any or All Criteria _{(Option Group)}

Select whether the Simple Filter should match Any or All of the Filter Criteria

The Simple Filter Criteria must match the Requirement Attribute _{(Option Group)}

Select whether the Simple Filter should match just the Primary or any Requirement Attribute

The Filter is On/Off _(Label)

Indicates whether the Filter is On or Off. If the Filter is Off then all Requirements are displayed in the Requirements Summary window.

The Selected Filter _(Label)

Indicates how the Simple Filter results and the Advanced Filter results will be aggregated together in a Combination Filter. For example, "(Simple Filter Criteria) OR (Advanced Filter Criteria)" indicates that all the results from both the Simple Filter and the Advanced Filter will be aggregated together using the logical OR function.

Turn Off Filter _(Button)

Turn on/off both the Simple Filter and the Advanced Filter

OK _(Button)

Finish modifications and close the window

Cancel _(Button)

Cancel the changes that were made

Apply _(Button)

Save the changes that were made

Restore Defaults _(Button)

Restore the default factory settings for this option
