History Attribute - list and detail view

UserGuide Documentation Index Home

Any update to the Requirements is automatically logged. Two types of historic information is captured: Historic Events and Historic Snap Shots.

Historic Events comprise of a list of every type of change that has been made to the Requirements. Requirement Added, Requirement Name Updated, and Requirement Group Deleted are all examples of Historic Events. When an Historic Event is logged it is initially flagged for reporting as either a Major Change or Minor Only based upon user selectable defaults.

Historic Snap Shots, on the other hand, contain the actual state of the Requirement at a given point in time. Historic Snap Shots are taken at most once per day.

This window allows the user to view all of the historic information captured for each Requirement. The user can also change the report flag of Historic Events.

To find this window from the Requirement Summary window, click the Show Detail button to open the Requirements Detail window, then click History in the Requirement Attributes list.
