Requirements Management and Blackblot Deliver the Blackblot Custom Process Module

White Plains, NY, USA - February 1, 2007: Requirements Management, LLC and Blackblot today announced the availability of the Blackblot Custom Process Module software add-on for the Requirements Management Database™ (ReqDB), providing an automated way to efficiently prepare market requirements.

The module is aimed at helping product planners create true and clear Market Requirements Documents (MRD) with traceability to Product Requirements Documents (PRD) and to technical specifications. The module implements Blackblot's product planning methodology (processes, templates, concepts) into the ReqDB application.

Developed by Requirements Management, the ReqDB is a collaboration tool to help capture, refine, prioritize, and track the development of a detailed list of product requirements in a living document. Product managers can create the right set of requirements for a whole roadmap of product updates by ensuring that all market requirements are captured at the time they arise. The burden of managing requirements can be distribute across the entire project team, with workflow optimization features that allow each user to generate requirements documents instantly and synchronize requirements with other tools (such as Microsoft® Office Project).
